After raising $50 million in funding this past February and indicating a plan to move global App Direct has opened offices in London and Paris and hired a General Manager to head EMEA operations. It has been suggested that this was done in attempts to fend off increasing competition in the cloud brokerage enablement market one thing seems sure, Cloud Brokerage is on the rise in Europe!
During this past week along with plans to grow its teams by 300 percent, AppDirect also announced new services for partners including the familiar to us Finns TeliaSonera. The expansion amounts to an interesting move for companies such as Pilvi, in seeing that players operating somewhat in the same space as us are moving closer to us. This opens up many new and interesting opportunists for growth an co-operation!
